Parks in Split

Marjan Hill is a 178-metre forested peninsula west of the Old Town, offering hiking trails, beaches, chapels, and panoramic viewpoints. Often called Split's lungs, this protected park forest has been the city's favorite escape for centuries.

Strossmayer Park is a small, leafy urban park just north of Diocletian's Palace, providing a shaded resting point between the palace area and the Varoš neighborhood. A quiet contrast to the bustling Old Town streets.

Sustipan is a peaceful park on a small peninsula at Split's western harbour entrance, combining an old cemetery, a Benedictine monastery ruin, and panoramic sunset views. It's one of Split's most contemplative and least-visited green spaces.
