The Orto Botanico di Palermo is one of Europe's most important botanical gardens, covering 10 hectares adjacent to Villa Giulia. Founded in 1789, it is home to over 12,000 species and features spectacular tropical specimens that thrive in Palermo's mild climate.

Villa Giulia is Palermo's first public park, established in 1778 and designed in a formal Italian style with geometric paths, fountains, and marble statues. Adjacent to the Botanical Garden, it serves as a calm green oasis in the southeastern quarter.

The Foro Italico (also called Foro Umberto I) is a long green promenade stretching along Palermo's seafront south of La Cala. It offers open spaces, playgrounds, and uninterrupted views of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The Giardino Inglese is a peaceful English-landscape-style park in the Libertà quarter, popular with joggers and families. Mature banyan trees, palm-lined paths, and marble busts of notable Sicilians give it a distinguished character.
