The Giardino Inglese is a peaceful English-landscape-style park in the Libertà quarter, popular with joggers and families. Mature banyan trees, palm-lined paths, and marble busts of notable Sicilians give it a distinguished character.
Created in 1851 by Giovan Battista Ferrara, the park was designed in the English romantic garden tradition popular in 19th-century Italy. It was restored in 2005.
