Juhu Beach is Mumbai's most famous beach, a 6-km stretch of sand in the western suburbs that serves as an outdoor living room for millions of Mumbaikars. It is particularly famous for its street food stalls, Bollywood celebrity sightings, and vibrant Sunday crowds.

Girgaon Chowpatty is Mumbai's most beloved urban beach, a crescent of sand at the northern end of Marine Drive. It is less a swimming beach and more a vibrant social space where Mumbaikars gather for street food, sunset watching, and festivals.
Versova Beach stretches along the Arabian Sea on Mumbai's western coast, a working fishing village beach that became famous for a citizen-led cleanup that removed 5.3 million kg of rubbish between 2015–2019.

Gorai Beach is a sandy stretch on the Arabian Sea in Mumbai's far northwest, accessed by boat from Marve. It's quieter and cleaner than Juhu, offering a semi-rural seaside escape within city limits.
