Parks in Helsinki

The Esplanadi is Helsinki's most elegant boulevard—a linden-tree-lined park flanked by upscale shops, cafés, and the Swedish Theatre. In summer, the park fills with musicians, food stalls, and sunbathing Helsinkians.

Seurasaari is an island open-air museum preserving 87 historic wooden buildings from across Finland—farmsteads, churches, and manor houses—set in a forested natural park connected to the mainland by a footbridge.

Kaivopuisto is Helsinki's most fashionable park, a seaside green space on the southern tip of the peninsula popular for picnics, sunset watching, and May Day (Vappu) celebrations.
