Parks in Tirana

The Grand Park of Tirana (Parku i Madh Kodrat e Liqenit) is the capital's largest green space, covering 230 hectares around an artificial lake south of the city centre. It's where Tiranans come to jog, cycle, picnic, and escape the urban buzz.

Mount Dajt National Park (Parku Kombëtar i Malit të Dajtit) rises to 1,613 metres on Tirana's eastern doorstep, offering hiking trails, panoramic viewpoints, and fresh mountain air just a 15-minute cable car ride from the city.

Rinia Park (Youth Park) is a narrow central park stretching south from Skanderbeg Square toward the Blloku district. Lined with fountains, benches, and mature plane trees, it serves as Tirana's main promenade and a popular meeting point.

The Botanical Garden of Tirana (Kopështi Botanik i Tiranës) is a peaceful 15-hectare green space managed by the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Tirana. It houses collections of native Albanian flora alongside ornamental Mediterranean and subtropical species.
