History
Named after Wenceslas I, Duke of Luxembourg (1353-1383), who extended the city's defences, the route was created by Luxembourg City Tourism to showcase the UNESCO-listed fortifications.

- Tip 1: Start at the Bock and walk clockwise for a mostly downhill first half.
- Tip 2: Allow at least two hours; add extra time for museum stops along the way.
- Duration: 2-3 hours.
