Overview

Chimelong Safari Park (长隆野生动物世界) in Panyu is one of the world's largest and most acclaimed safari parks, housing over 20,000 animals across 500 species, including giant pandas, white tigers, koalas, and a renowned giraffe breeding programme.

History

Opened in 1997 as Xiangjiang Safari Park, it was rebranded under the Chimelong Group and expanded into one of Asia's premier zoological attractions. It operates active breeding programmes for endangered species.

• Full Day: Plan at least 5–6 hours to see the safari zone, walking zones, and shows.
• Getting There: Take Metro Line 3 to Hanxi Changlong, then a free shuttle.
