Mežaparks is Riga's largest park and one of Europe's oldest planned garden suburbs. Encompassing dense pine forest, a lake, and the famous Song Festival amphitheatre, it is the green lung of the city and the venue for Latvia's most important cultural event.

Vērmanes Garden (Vērmanes dārzs) is Riga's oldest public park, established in 1817 with a donation from the widow of a German merchant. Situated between the Old Town and the Art Nouveau district, the park offers a leafy retreat with a fountain, rose garden, and open-air concert stage.
Bastejkalna Park occupies the site of the old city fortifications and moat, transformed into a picturesque urban park in the 19th century. The winding city canal, crossed by ornate footbridges, flows through the park and offers boat rides in summer.
