Parks in Granada

The Parque Federico García Lorca is a landscaped municipal park surrounding the Huerta de San Vicente, the Lorca family's summer house. Fountains, rose gardens, and shade trees make it a popular gathering spot for locals.

The Carmen de los Mártires is a romantic 19th-century garden estate on the southern slope of the Alhambra hill. Its terraces, grottoes, ponds, and resident peacocks make it one of Granada's most enchanting green spaces.

The Bosque de la Alhambra is a dense woodland of elms, chestnuts, and plane trees that lines the steep Cuesta de Gomérez leading up to the Alhambra gate. An ancient irrigation channel runs alongside the path, filling the air with the sound of water.

The Jardines del Triunfo are a large public garden on the northern edge of Granada's historic centre, adjacent to the monumental Hospital Real (now part of the University of Granada).
