The Mennello Museum of American Art sits on the shore of Lake Formosa in Loch Haven Park. It is best known for its permanent collection of paintings by Earl Cunningham, a self-taught American folk artist whose vibrant landscapes depict the coastal Southeast.
Founded in 1998 by Michael and Marilyn Mennello, who donated their private Cunningham collection to the city. The museum occupies a 1930s lakeside building expanded for gallery use.
