Disney's Animal Kingdom is the largest of the four Walt Disney World parks at 580 acres, blending a zoological park with theme park rides. Pandora — The World of Avatar is its most immersive land, alongside African and Asian themed areas.

History
Opened on April 22, 1998 (Earth Day), Animal Kingdom was designed by Joe Rohde with a conservation mission. The Pandora land opening in 2017 revitalized attendance.
