Overview

The Station Inn is Nashville's premier bluegrass venue, a no-frills bunker at the edge of the Gulch where some of the world's finest pickers, fiddlers, and mandolin players perform nightly. It's been the epicentre of Nashville's acoustic music scene since 1974.

History

The Station Inn opened in 1974 in a building that once stored railroad supplies. Despite decades of development pressure in the surrounding Gulch neighbourhood, it has survived as an anchor of acoustic tradition.
