Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium is the 100,119-seat home of the University of Texas Longhorns football team. One of the largest stadiums in the world, it creates an unforgettable game-day atmosphere in the heart of campus.
Originally built in 1924 as a memorial to Texans who served in World War I, the stadium has been expanded numerous times. It was renamed in 2006 to honor legendary coach Darrell Royal, who led the Longhorns to three national championships.
