A series of informal lookout points along Boulevard Kukulcán where the road hugs the western shore of the Hotel Zone, offering unobstructed views over the 3,000-hectare Laguna Nichupté. Sunsets from here are famously vivid.
Laguna Nichupté was a pristine wetland system until the 1970s, when the Hotel Zone bridge divided it from the Caribbean. Conservation programs now protect its mangrove borders as critical nursery habitat.
