Overview
Küçüksu Kasrı is a confection of a Rococo-style Ottoman hunting lodge perched on the Asian Bosphorus shore between two small streams—one of Istanbul's most extravagant small palaces.

History
Built in 1856 by architect Nigoğayos Balyan for Sultan Abdülmecid I as a day-trip hunting lodge where the court would pause during Bosphorus excursions.

- Tip: Closed Mondays and Thursdays. Easiest reached by bus from Üsküdar.
