History
Originally established as a pop-up food village when Gardens by the Bay opened in 2012, Satay by the Bay proved so popular that it became a permanent fixture. It fills the role of a "garden hawker centre" — a concept unique to Singapore.
Visitor Tips
- Time it with Garden Rhapsody: Grab a table at 19:00 for dinner, then watch the 19:45 light show.
- Bring cash: Some stalls don't accept cards.
