Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM) is Jakarta's premier cultural complex in Cikini, combining art galleries, theatres, the Planetarium, and an arts academy on a single campus named after the legendary Indonesian composer.

History
Inaugurated in 1968 by Governor Ali Sadikin to nurture Jakarta's arts scene, TIM became the epicentre of Indonesia's modern cultural production. It was extensively renovated in 2021 while preserving its role as a democratised arts venue.
