Nanxi Mountain Park

Overview

Nanxi Mountain Park stretches along the southern bank of the Li River, combining quiet walking trails, ancient rock inscriptions, and two limestone peaks, Nanxi and Baitsz, connected by a forested saddle.

History

The hills have been a retreating ground for scholars since the Tang dynasty; the earliest surviving inscription dates to 825 AD.
