Tan Ky House is a beautifully preserved 200-year-old merchant residence on Nguyen Thai Hoc Street. It represents the finest example of Hoi An's domestic architecture, blending Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese design elements under a single roof.
Built in the late 18th century by a Vietnamese merchant who traded with both Chinese and Japanese counterparts, the house was designed to reflect each culture's architectural traditions. Its layout follows feng shui principles with a central courtyard for ventilation.
