Overview
The Museum of Trade Ceramics occupies a restored two-story timber-framed house on Tran Phu Street. Its collection documents Hoi An's centuries of maritime commerce through ceramic artifacts from Vietnam, China, Japan, and Southeast Asia.

History
Established in 1995, the museum was created after underwater archaeological excavations in the waters off Cua Dai uncovered extensive ceramic cargo from shipwrecks dating from the 14th to 18th centuries.
