The Museum of Sa Huynh Culture houses a remarkable collection of artifacts from the Sa Huynh civilization, a pre-Cham Iron Age culture that flourished along Vietnam's central coast from around 1000 BCE to 200 CE. Located on Tran Phu Street, it provides context for Hoi An's deep archaeological roots.
The Sa Huynh culture was first identified in 1909 and has since been recognized as one of Southeast Asia's most important Iron Age civilizations. The museum opened in the 1990s to display finds from excavation sites around Hoi An and Quang Nam Province.
