Underwater World Pattaya is a 4,800-square-metre aquarium on Sukhumvit Road near Jomtien. Its centrepiece is a 100-metre acrylic tunnel that passes through a tank filled with sharks, giant groupers, and rays, giving visitors the sensation of walking through the ocean floor.
The aquarium opened in 2003 and is operated by a marine education foundation. It focuses on species native to the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea, with conservation messaging throughout the exhibits.
