Ramayana Water Park

Overview

Ramayana Water Park is the largest water park in Southeast Asia, spanning 184,000 square metres in the hills east of Pattaya. Its 50+ slides, wave pools, and lazy rivers are set among lush tropical landscaping, with design elements inspired by the Hindu Ramayana epic.

Highlights

• Aqua Loop: A near-vertical free-fall capsule slide with a 360-degree loop.
• Dueling Racer: A six-lane mat-racer slide for competitive groups.
• Double wave pool: One of Asia's largest artificial wave pools, with waves up to 3 metres.

History

The park was developed by a Ukrainian investment group and opened in 2016. Its ambitious Ramayana theming — complete with Hanuman statues and Ravana carvings — distinguishes it from generic water parks in the region.

Visitor Tips

• Full day: With 50+ rides, plan at least 4–5 hours.
• Lockers: Rent a large locker (200 THB) to store belongings; the park covers a vast area.
• Duration: 4–6 hours.
