Mini Siam

Overview

Mini Siam is an outdoor miniature park displaying over 100 scale replicas of famous buildings from Thailand and around the world. Split into two zones — Mini Siam (Thai landmarks) and Mini Europe (international monuments) — the park allows visitors to 'travel the world' in an afternoon.

Highlights

• Thai zone: 1:25 scale replicas of Wat Arun, the Grand Palace, Prasat Hin Phimai, and the Bridge over the River Kwai.
• International zone: The Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, Colosseum, and Sydney Opera House.
• Night illumination: After dark, thousands of LEDs transform the miniatures into a glowing spectacle.

History

Mini Siam opened in 1985 to promote Thailand's architectural heritage to international visitors. The Mini Europe section was added in 1992. Today the park occupies a 3-hectare site on Sukhumvit Road north of central Pattaya.

Visitor Tips

• Evening visit: The night-time lighting (from 18:00) is the main draw; consider arriving at 17:00.
• Photography: A wide-angle lens helps capture several miniatures in a single frame.
• Duration: 1–1.5 hours.
