The Wrocław Dwarfs (Krasnale) are over 300 small bronze figurines scattered throughout the city's streets, each with a unique character and story. Following the dwarf trail is one of Wrocław's most distinctive and beloved activities.

History

The dwarfs originated from the Orange Alternative, a 1980s anti-communist protest movement that used absurdist humor against the regime. The first bronze figurines were installed in 2005 to commemorate this legacy.
