The Japanese Garden is a tranquil oasis within Szczytnicki Park, featuring traditional Japanese landscaping with koi ponds, pagodas, stone lanterns, and meticulously pruned trees. It is one of the oldest Japanese gardens in Europe.
Originally created in 1913 for a horticultural exhibition, the garden fell into disrepair after the war. It was meticulously restored in 1996–1997 with the help of the Japanese embassy and Ikebana masters.
