Overview
The Queenstown Trail is a 130-kilometre network of walking and cycling trails connecting Queenstown, Arrowtown, and the surrounding countryside. Built to New Zealand Great Ride standards, it follows river gorges, lakeshores, and historic gold mining routes.

- Gibbston River Trail: A scenic section through the Kawarau Gorge wine region, passing vineyards and crossing historic suspension bridges.

History
Completed in stages between 2009 and 2012 as part of the New Zealand Cycle Trail project, the trail was designed to showcase the region's scenery while reusing historic bridges and mining infrastructure.
