Kaiser Library houses an eclectic collection of over 45,000 books, manuscripts, and artifacts amassed by Field Marshal Kaiser Shumsher Rana during his world travels. Tucked inside the Garden of Dreams compound, it offers a fascinating glimpse into early 20th-century intellectual life.

History

Kaiser Shumsher Rana (1892–1964) was a bibliophile who amassed this collection during extensive travels in Europe and Asia. After his death, the collection was given to the government and opened to the public.
