The Langkawi Sky Bridge is a 125-metre curved pedestrian bridge suspended 660 metres above sea level between the peaks of Gunung Mat Chinchang. Reached via the SkyCab cable car plus a short SkyGlide incline lift, it offers vertiginous views of the Andaman Sea, the rainforest canopy, and the Thai islands on the horizon.
Opened in 2005 as part of Langkawi's tourism infrastructure, the bridge was designed by Maybank Engineering and built at a cost of RM 5 million. After a closure for refurbishment in 2012, it reopened in 2015 with improved structural supports and the addition of glass floor panels.
