History
Sung Bum-young began cultivating bonsai in the 1960s and established the current garden in 1992. He spent decades collecting and shaping trees from across Korea and Asia. The garden gained international fame when Chinese President Jiang Zemin visited in 2000 and called it the best bonsai garden he had ever seen.
