Incheon Grand Park is the city's largest green space at 727 hectares, encompassing a reservoir, forested hillsides, botanical gardens, a zoo, and a network of hiking and cycling trails. It serves as an urban retreat for Incheon residents and offers a wealth of outdoor activities in every season.
Opened in 1981 as Incheon's flagship urban park, the site was originally a water-supply reservoir surrounded by protected forest. Successive expansions added the zoo in 1993 and the botanical garden in 2003.
