Artisans Angkor is a social enterprise founded in 1998 to revive traditional Khmer crafts and provide employment to rural youth. Visitors can watch artisans at work in stone carving, silk weaving, lacquerwork, and wood sculpture, and purchase high-quality handmade products in the on-site boutique.
Founded by the Chantiers-Écoles de Formation Professionnelle with support from the European Union, Artisans Angkor grew from a training programme for disadvantaged youth into Cambodia's largest craft enterprise, employing over 1,300 artisans across Siem Reap province.
