Wat Botum Park is a small public green space adjacent to the Wat Botum pagoda, just south of the Royal Palace. It is one of the few manicured parks in central Phnom Penh and serves as a gathering place for locals who come for morning exercise, tai chi, and quiet relaxation.
Wat Botum ("Temple of the Lotus") was established in 1442 and has been a place of worship and community gathering for nearly six centuries. The surrounding park was formalised during urban improvements in the early 2000s.
