The Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum is a popular interactive science and technology museum in Cubbon Park, named after Sir M. Visvesvaraya, India's celebrated engineer and Bharat Ratna awardee. It is operated by the National Council of Science Museums.
Opened in 1962, the museum was one of India's first dedicated science museums. It was designed to inspire young Indians in science and technology, a legacy of Sir Visvesvaraya's vision for industrial self-reliance.
