Art of Living International Center

Overview

The Art of Living International Center is the global headquarters of the Art of Living Foundation, spread across 65 acres of forested hillside about 30 km south of Bengaluru. Its centerpiece is the Vishalakshi Mantap, a massive lotus-shaped meditation hall.

History

Founded by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in 1981, the center grew from a small ashram to a globally recognized wellness and humanitarian organization. The Vishalakshi Mantap was inaugurated in 2008 and has since hosted world leaders and cultural events.

• Pre-Register: Day visits may require advance registration or prior enrollment in a course.
• Dress Code: Simple, modest clothing; white attire preferred in meditation zones.
