The Monas observation deck sits at the top of the 132-metre National Monument, offering unobstructed 360-degree views over Jakarta's skyline, from the skyscrapers of the Golden Triangle to the Java Sea.

History
The observation platform was part of the original 1961 design but did not open to the public until 1975 due to construction delays. The elevator was modernised in 2009.
