Shenzhen Talent Park

Overview

Shenzhen Talent Park is a waterfront green space in Nanshan dedicated to celebrating the innovators and entrepreneurs who built modern Shenzhen. Wrapped around a scenic lake with views of Shenzhen Bay, the park features sculpture gardens, walking paths, and themed gardens honouring different fields of achievement.

• Talent Star Avenue: Granite markers honour notable contributors to Shenzhen's development across science, technology, and culture.
• Bay Views: The park's western edge looks across Shenzhen Bay to Hong Kong, particularly beautiful at sunset.

History

The park opened in 2017 on the 38th anniversary of Shenzhen's establishment as a Special Economic Zone. It was conceived as a tribute to the millions of migrants who came to the city to build their careers during the reform era.
