Shenzhen Concert Hall is a world-class performing arts venue in the Futian Civic Centre cultural cluster, designed by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki. Its golden, tree-like exterior and acoustically superb 1,800-seat concert hall make it both an architectural landmark and the city's premier classical music venue.
The concert hall opened in 2007 as part of the Futian Civic Centre cultural precinct. It was designed to signal Shenzhen's aspiration to be more than a manufacturing centre — a city with genuine cultural depth. The building has won multiple architecture awards for its distinctive golden façade.
