KK100 (Kingkey 100) is a 442-metre skyscraper in Luohu District that held the title of Shenzhen's tallest building from its completion in 2011 until the Ping An Finance Centre surpassed it. The tower houses the St. Regis Hotel and an observation area.
Development of KK100 was led by Kingkey Group and completed in 2011. At 442 metres, it was briefly the tallest building in Shenzhen and the ninth tallest in the world at the time. Its location above Caiwuwei metro station in the older Luohu district represented a statement about the continued vitality of Shenzhen's original commercial centre.
