The Jin Mao Tower's 88th-floor observation deck offers panoramic views from 340 meters, with the unique ability to look down into the tower's dramatic 30-story central atrium — one of the tallest atria in the world.

History

Designed by SOM and completed in 1999, the 421-meter tower's design references the tiered form of a traditional Chinese pagoda. It held the title of China's tallest building for eight years.
