Wangjianglou Park (Gazing River Tower Park) sits on the south bank of the Jin River at the site where Tang dynasty poetess Xue Tao once drew water for her hand-made poetry paper. It is celebrated for its extensive bamboo collection — over 200 species.
The park honors the renowned Tang dynasty poetess Xue Tao (768–831 AD), who lived nearby. The Wangjiang Tower was built during the Qing dynasty in 1886, and the bamboo garden was established to symbolize the virtue and elegance associated with the poetess.
