Anshun Bridge

Overview

Anshun Bridge is an illuminated covered bridge spanning the Jin River in central Chengdu. Originally built during the Yuan dynasty for a post road, the current reconstruction blends traditional architecture with modern dining and entertainment.

History

The original Anshun Bridge was built in the Yuan dynasty (1271–1368) as part of the Southern Silk Road post network. Destroyed and rebuilt multiple times, the current 81-meter structure was completed in 2003 modeled on a Qing dynasty painting.
