Yagan Square is a public gathering place opened in 2018 that bridges the gap between Perth's CBD and Northbridge, built over the sunken Perth rail lines. Named after the Noongar warrior Yagan, it features a digital art tower, amphitheatre, and marketplace.
The square was developed as part of the Perth City Link project, which sank the railway and reconnected the city and Northbridge for the first time since the 1880s. It was named to honour Yagan, a notable resistance leader of the Noongar people.
