The Swan Valley is Western Australia's oldest wine region, located just 25 minutes east of the Perth CBD. The fertile river flats host over 40 cellar doors, craft breweries, artisan food producers, and family attractions along a scenic driving trail.
Vines were first planted by early settlers in 1829, making the Swan Valley one of Australia's oldest grape-growing regions. Croatian and Italian immigrant families in the early 20th century expanded the industry, and many family-owned estates operate to this day.
