Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe is an annual free-admission outdoor sculpture exhibition held each March along the Cottesloe coastline. Over 70 sculptures by Australian and international artists are installed on beaches, grassy slopes, and the ocean foreshore.
Launched in Sydney in 1997, the Cottesloe edition began in 2005. It has grown to attract over 220,000 visitors during its two-and-a-half-week run, making it one of Australia's largest free public art events.
