Overview
Fornillo Beach is Positano's quieter alternative, a smaller cove of grey pebbles reached by a scenic five-minute path from Spiaggia Grande that passes a medieval tower.
Highlights

History
The beach takes its name from the ancient furnaces (fornaci) that once operated nearby. The defensive towers were built to guard against Saracen raids.
