Fitzgerald Park is Cork's largest and most popular public park, stretching along the north channel of the River Lee west of the city centre. It features formal gardens, a sculpture trail, and the Cork Public Museum.
Originally developed for the Cork International Exhibition of 1902, the park was named after Edward Fitzgerald, a local politician. It has been continuously maintained and upgraded, most recently with new riverside walkways completed in 2019.
