Cork Public Museum

Overview

The Cork Public Museum is a civic museum inside Fitzgerald Park covering the social, economic, and political history of Cork city and county. Admission is free.

Highlights

History

Founded in 1945, the museum occupies a 1906 exhibition pavilion built for the Cork International Exhibition. It has been continuously expanded and was refurbished in 2016 with modernised displays and improved accessibility.
