The Cobh Heritage Centre is housed in the restored Victorian railway station at Cobh, Cork's historic harbour town. It tells the story of Irish emigration, the sinking of the Lusitania, and the Titanic's final port of call.
Cobh (formerly Queenstown) was the embarkation point for 2.5 million Irish emigrants between 1848 and 1950. The heritage centre opened in 1993 in the old railway ticket office and has become one of Ireland's most visited heritage attractions.
